A wimpy apology for having just about zero activity on here for the past few weeks. Been sick, got a new kitten, and all that.
This is Virryn, a character I will never introduce, besides here, because the story s/he was in was axed (the long story that came after MSD that I decided not to do... or at least not to do anytime soon). Here is the FRICKIN' HUGE backstory for this character:
[MATURE WARNING: SEXUAL REFERENCES]
{Virryn was a servant in Baron Moshadaa's household, who was one day unfortunately chosen by the baron to become a concubine. The baron was known notoriously as a womanizer even though he was married, so it was no surprise that his lechery drove him to select even a humble maid as one of his many, quickly disposed concubines. The truth to the matter was, however, that the baron simply chose girls to uphold his reputation; he was very much homosexual (his wife knew this, which is why she let these concubines go without offense). His solution was to take in any number of females and change them magically to males to suit his fancy. Once he had grown bored of a newly-male concubine, he would return them to female form and either send them to one of his summer homes to keep them away from the public eye and quiet, or have them killed if he thought they might stir up trouble.
[END MATURE WARNING; REST IS SAFE]
So Virryn was changed into a male by the cruel baron. However, he was distracted by a cat jumping onto the windowsill while he was performing the incantation, and as a result, Virryn ended up not only male, but a male with cat ears and eyes. Upset by these features, the baron turned to consult his spellbook on how to fix this issue. When he turned back around, Virryn had vanished. She leapt out of the window and set free a dragon she had befriended that had been held captive by the baron. They escaped together, but not before Virryn became injured trying to protect the dragon (whose name is Aulresh).
They were closely chased by the baron and his men as they escaped. As Aulresh was a fairly small dragon and Virryn was bleeding heavily, it became apparent they would have to land soon... and so they did--right into Relden's caravan.}
So yeah. Cat girl/boy. Falls in love with a main character, but it's kind of awkward since she's currently a he right now. They try to find someone to make her female again, but the baron has people on the watch for her so it's hard. Good fun.
maybe you could do an alternate timeline. one where virryn does meet up with relden and gets to play a part in the story.
or you could introduce him in MSD as an old friend of relden or an old friend of his mother... okay now that i think of it that'd be kind of difficult to do.
anyways, i'm back on DA! hope you didn't miss me that much!

This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.
